Ryan Dies In Mineral Article Text: Hawthorne - Funeral services were held in Hawthorne Monday (8 Aug 1949) for Mrs. Jack B (Grace B.) RYAN who died at the Mineral County Hospital 5 Aug. The services were conducted by the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary from Fallon of which Mrs. RYAN was a member. Burial was in the Hawthorne Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill LANE, Don MARTIN, Andy WILKINS, Bob BROWN, Tom McKENZIE and Harry WAGNER. Mrs. RYAN had been in ill health for several years and underwent surgery about a month ago from which she did not recover. She was born in Wisconsin 19 Feb 1880 and spent her early life in Chicago. She cam to Virginia City in 1908 where she met Jack RYAN. They were married in Sacramento, CA in 1917 and returned to Nevada to make their home. The RYAN'S moved from Fallon to Hawthorne six years ago.
