His condition was known to be serious, but it was hoped that his rugged constitution would withstand the trial, but such was not to be. At about 11:00 he breathed his last, surrounded by his relatives. Monroe MILLER is well known in this section , having been engaged in mining hereabout for many years. Besides a devoted and heartbroken wife, he leaves to mourn his death, his mother, Mrs. CRUTCHER; two sisters, Mrs. J.E. ADAMS and Mrs. Fred BARNES; two brothers John Harvey MILLER and Alvey MILLER. The death of Monroe MILLER has cast a gloom over the town as he was held in high esteem by all. He was a member in good standing of Lakeview Lodge # 17 A.O.U.W. in which order he was insured for $2,000. He was a native of Iowa, aged 39 years. Up to our press hour no arrangements had been made for the funeral. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NV-Old-News ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ NewspaperAbstracts.com - Finding our ancestors in the news!
