Born 17 Jan 1865 in Denmark, Mr. Fitting came to this country as a young man (about 1887) and resided for a number of years in California. He came to Nevada about 30 years ago and resided in Mineral County where he engaged in mining. He was one of the owners of the Mable Mine which was sold in 1918.
