His death was discovered about 4 a.m. Tuesday by Mr. BARLOW, heart failure was the cause of death according to the coroners jury. Mr. JOHNSON was born in Stockholm, Sweden, 18 Sep 1867. He came to this country when he was 16 years of age, spending most of his life in Fresno, CA where he was employed as an electrical and steam engineer, until he came to Hawthorne 2 years ago to live with his daughter Mrs. W.W. GLENZER. He is survived by his widow Stella JOHNSON of San Diego, CA and daughters; Irene DELLINGER and Dorothy GARLAND of San Diego and Mrs. W. GLENZER who lives here. His widow and two daughters drove from San Diego for the funeral which was held from St. Philip's Mission at 2:00 Wednesday (23 Jun 1937)with Major W.C. WEST officiating.
