LINDERMAN (Harvey and Shirley), well known Hawthorne residents, Saturday evening (30 Jul 1938) when their fourteen month old daughter Shirley Carol LINDERMAN passed away. Cause of death was attributed to an enlarged thymus gland which had developed a condition from which the child had suffered from infancy. The little girl was laid to rest in the Hawthorne Cemetery Tuesday afternoon (2 Aug 1938)after services at St. Philip's Church, W.C. WEST officiating and attended by scores of friends of the LINDERMAN family. Shirley Carol was the fourth child of Mr. and Mrs. LINDERMAN. two older sisters and a brother who was the eldest child living at the family home here. The family had resided in Hawthorne for several years.
