Mr. MURPHY was born in Troy, NY 6 Jul 1864. He was a machinist by trade and has been a resident of Nevada for thirty years, during which time he has been well known in the activities of many Southern Nevada's mining camps. The deceased was unmarried and little is known in Hawthorne of his family afairs.
