Services were conducted by the Rev. Glenn LUTZ and burial was in the Hawthorne Cemetery. Mr. TATUM, who came to Hawthorne in February and who had worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot until 23 March, was stricken ill at the hotel and a doctor was summoned. The man died a short time later. Born in Shreeveport, Louisiana, Mr. TATUM had lived in the West for almost 25 years, and for 20 years was an employee of Warner Brothers in Hollywood. He is survived by his parents Mr. and Mrs. R.H. TATUM of Orange, Texas; one sister, Mrs. L.A. FOSTER of Orange; one brother, J.A. TATUM of Beaumont, Texas.
