MORRIS, age 57, died suddenly Minday afternoon at his place of residence, 365 D. Street in Hawthorne. Mr. MORRIS had come to Hawthorne only the previous day from Bremerton, Washington where he had been employed by the Navy. He moved into the D Street residence, owned by a friend, and the following morning complained to a neighbor, Mrs. William HART that he felt ill. Mondaty evening when Mr. HART returned from work Mrs. HART suggested that he check as to the condition of Mr. MORRIS and it was then that he was found dead. Local doctors were summined and they attributed death to natural causes estimating that Mr. MORRIS had been dead three or four hours when found by Mr. HART. Also summined were district attorney L.E. BLAISDEL, sheriff, Al JENSEN and coroner, C.M. MITCHELL. Following an investigation of authorities and the examinatin by the doctors it was decided that an inquest would not be necessary.
