He had resided in the latter town the past 13 years. Suffering from silicosis, (from inhaling silica) NEGRETE had been in poor health for the last three years and in recent weeks has been confined to bed. The graveside services were conducted by Esmeralda Lodge # 16, Knights of Pythias which NEGRETE had held membership for many years. Burial was beside the gave of his mother (Mrs. Lucy NEGRETE). Born in Hawthorne, NEGRETE was one of three children born to Mr. and Mrs. Rafael NEGRETE, pioneer residents of this community, both of whom are deceased. He was reared and educated here and spent practically all his life in various parts of Mineral County. Surviving relatives are a sister, Mrs. J.J.
