Mrs. McCARTY was employed in the kitchen at Mount Grant Hospital for several years before ill health forced her into retirement. Her husband, the late James P. McCARTY, an engineman at Hawthorne Naval Ammunition Depot, preceded her in death 14 Apr 1956. Mrs. McCARTY was born 16 Feb 1889 in Beaver City, NB. She married James P. McCARTY in 1939 in Colorado. The couple moved to Nevada in 1941 and resided for several years in Gabbs before moving to Hawthorne. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Virginia BAKER, of Fresno and one son Don DeVore of Magna, Utah and six grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday (20 Jun)with the Rev.
