It is believed that he was killed instantly Mr LANG was born 22 Jun 1956 in Kerrville, Texas and had lived in Hawthorne about 12 years. Survivors include Martha LANG, his widow and son James, both of Hawthorne; mother Leola ROSS of McGrath, Alaska; father Edwin LANG of Austin, Texas; brother Larry SPARROW of McGrath, Alaska; sisters, Laurie MORGAN of Enterprise, Alaska, Gail CAMACHO of Honilulu, Hawaii, and grandmother Selma ERFURT of Hawthorne. He was the son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. GRIFFITH of Hawthorne. Funeral services have beeen tentatively set for 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Hawthorne.
