B. C. Davis Found Dead Here Sunday Article Text: Arthur Brunington Columbus DAVIS was found dead in his home at 392 H Street in Hawthorne at 2:00 p.m. Sunday by Sheriff G.A. "Al" JENSEN. He died of natural causes officials said. Mr. DAVIS hadn't been feeling well Saturday, from friends and had asked L.C. BROWN to take him home. At home DAVIS requested BROWN check in on him the following day. BROWN returned Sunday but was unable to either enter the house or get a response from DAVIS so he notified the Sheriff's office and Sheriff JENSEN entered the house and found the deceased. Mr. DAVIS was an old timer in Nevada having been a prospector and miner in the Gold Point and Tonopah area for many years prior to coming to Hawthorne.
