When but a child the family moved to Goldfield, Nevada. From there they moved to Colorado and in 1919 removed back to Nevada. Besides Goldfield, they had also lived in Battle Mountain, Nevada. In 1932 she came to Hawthorne and in 1938 she was united in marriage to Albert CURTIS. Mrs. CURTIS was a member of the Ladies Auxilary, VFW, Woodcraft Lodge and the Rebekah's. She died in Hawthorne 31 Oct 1948.
