WOODRUFF, Native Of Nevada Is Buried Article Text: Hawthorne- 8 Jun 1937, W.A. WOODRUFF, aged native son of Nevada and pioneer miner of the Rawhide District, was buried in the Hawthorne Cemetery. A coroner's jury found the result of natural causes due to advanced age. WOODRUFF has been associated with Tom KENYON in mining since 1882. Although little is known of Woodruff's family, letters found in his cabin revealed that he left a sister, Clara, in Los Angeles.
