CONNER. She was born in Cornwall, England in the early part of 1816 (born 9 Jun 1816), and left this life 24 Jul 1887. Had she been spared a few days longer the couple would have celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Her passing away was tranquel and hopeful. In her death her husband has lost an exemplary wife and her children a mother whose pious example showed them how to lead blameless lives. The cortege which escorted the remains to the A.O.U.W. Cemetery (now known as Hawthorne Cemetery), the place of sepulture, was large.
