The Halifax Herald has put the obituaries behind the pay wall and each obit counts as one page view. As only 10 page views are allowed for free each month, that makes it difficult for us all now. Most online papers that I read allow free access to obits. Perhaps the Herald needs to be approached to adjust their program. ________________________________ From: "MacLean, Pauline L" <[email protected]> To: "'[email protected]'" <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, August 30, 2013 10:18 AM Subject: Re: [NS-CB] NS-CAPE-BRETON Digest, Vol 8, Issue 232 The Halifax Herald has put the obituaries behind the pay wall and each obit counts as one page view. Thank you for this information Pauline. Everyone wants the almight $ now and the "free stuff" is going by the wayside. Margie Scott posted something about approaching them to have it free. Who is the best person to do this? Good Morning, Not knowing which department to address specifically; yesterday I posted my opinion on TheChronicleHerald Facebook page. I assume the page is monitored by their staff.
