Thanks to everyone who quickly responded. -----Original Message----- Ralph Yendys Mackley 90, Sydney/Blackett's Lake Ralph Yendys Mackley, 90, the Cove Guest Home, formerly of BlackettÕs Lake, passed away at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, on Tuesday, July 17, 2001. Born in Sydney, he was a son of the late John C. and Carrie Elizabeth (Gerhart) Mackley. In 1974, Ralph retired from Sysco as a machinist. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his son, Frank (Valerie), BlackettÕs Lake; three grandchildren, Lynn, David and Sandy (Danielle) and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Nathan. Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Beatrice (Janes), sisters, Marion, Carrie and Mildred and brothers, George, John, Paul, Ray, Sid, Walter and Guy. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Knox United Church, BlackettÕs Lake, Thursday 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Thorburn and Rev. Stephen Mills officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
