He was 82 years old. Stephen was born December 23, 1927, in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia to Rachel (nee MacDonald) and Angus MacEachern. The second youngest of nine children, he was the brother of Mary Belle (Sr. St. Anaes), Rodwerick, Sadie, Angus, Hugh, Donald, Wilfred and Lawrence. Stephen was married to Rosemary McDonnell MacEachern for 49 years. Their marriage was one of deep love and affection, caring for each other and their family through all times, good and bad. Stephen had been a resident of Lathrup Village, Bloomfield Hills, Farmington and Novi, Michigan as well as Lighthouse Point and Melbourne, Florida. He created Inland Plywood Company of Pontiac, Michigan and Cocoa, Florida in 1968, developing it into a highly successful and respected business. Stephen was a skilled salesman and businessman with a very strong work ethic which he passed on to all his children. He was a member of Meadowbrook Country Club, Suntree Country Club and the Huron River Hunting and Fishing Club. Stephen was an avid sportsman with a great passion for golf, hockey and football. He was extremely proud of his Scottish heritage and shared this pride with family and friends, most notably through his love of Scottish music and fiddle playing. Stephen was a man of warmth, integrity, compassion and love who will be missed by all he knew and touched throughout his life. Stephen is survived by his children, Gail (John) Sil ler, Stephen (Teresa) MacEachern, Timothy (Patricia) MacEachern, Ronald (Pamela) MacEachern and Mary Janis (Damian) Casey and grandchildren, Thomas, Patrick and Alex Siller, Stephen and Brianna MacEachern, Ashley, Erin, Emily, and Caitlin MacEachern, Matthew, Michael, MacKenzie, and Mollie MacEachern and Timothy and Meghan Casey. Stephen is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary MacEachern. Funeral from Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 32340 Pierce, Beverly Hills, Friday 10am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 9:30am. Visitation at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Thursday 3-8pm. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
