Beloved husband of Anne (Dunn) Carroll. Loving father of Paul L. Carroll and his wife Cathy of Lowell, Patricia Lydon of Avon, Ellen Donnelly of Avon, Theresa Campbell and her husband Ed of Weymouth, Kevin Carroll and his wife Darlene of FL, Donna Sargent of Onset, Susan Sanger of Avon and Margaret Cratty of Onset. Devoted brother of Martin Carroll of Nova Scotia, James Carroll of British Columbia, Thomas O'Flaherty of Ontario and Mary Flannigan of Nova Scotia. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, he died at South Shore Hospital, June 29, 000 at the age of 74. He grew up and attended school in Nova Scotia, Canada. He was a retired Oil Burner Technician. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Braintree and the Whitney Pier Historical Society in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, until 8:15 AM on Monday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4:00 - 8:00PM. A private burial will be held at a later date in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
