Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, she came here in 1985 from Boston, where she was a registered nurse. Locally, she was a member of Calvary Chapel. Survivors include a son, David J., Boston; three daughters, Donna Ross and Sandra K. Hanson, both of St. Petersburg, and Joan Gruskin, Brockton, Mass.
