Beloved wife of Austin DeCoste, she is also survived by her loving son, Geoffrey. As well, she is survived by sister, Agnes (Richard) Caldwell of Ingleside, brothers, Michael (Lois) MacNeil of Calgary and Charlie MacNeil. Also, she is survived by niece Alexandra Caldwell. She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Genevieve MacNeil. Genevieve was a nurse for 36 years and fondly remembers all the memories with her colleagues. We especially want to thank Dr. Asmis and the staff at the chemotherapy department, the palliative care team, and the oncology unit at the Ottawa General Hospital for their excellent care and support. Thanks also to CCAC for coordinating home care support and to all the excellent people who came to our home to provide help. Friends may pay their respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 370 St. Joseph Blvd. Orleans ON., K1C 1G1, 613-837-2370, on Monday, September 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.. Funeral Mass at the Good Shepherd Church on Tuesday, October 1 at 10:30 AM followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment at a later date.
