My second mix-up in my family data base is on George LeJeune s/o Gabriel Lejeune and Mary Catherine Dauphinee (variant spellings). In my data I have George married twice: m1) Mary Judith Lawlor b. 1829, d. ca 1872; m2) 9 Sep 1873; Agnes Neale b. 1845. In the book The LeJeunes of Cape Breton and Newfoundland, the two marriages are for m1) Julia Young and m2) Agnes Neale. I know from NS Vital Stats search that Agnes Neale was married to George on the date stated. Could find nothing on a second marriage. My internet searches leave me with nothing. My question is: Was m1) Mary Judith Lawlor or was it Julia Young and what children go with what mother? Again, thanks for the assistance. Thom Thom
Thom from the Antigonish parish records George Young had 11 children baptised - six with the mother identified as Judith Lawler, four with the mother Julia Lawlor, and one with the mother Joanna Lawlor. Nine of these children appear on the 1871 census... there are also four baptisms listed for George and Agnes Neale.
