The birth of Ann Quinn in 1858 gives her parents as James Quinn and Mary Cathcart... This may be a case where two siblings married two siblings - could not find much on the Murphy side... William Quinn was the son of James Quinn and Mary Cathcart. Susan was the daughter of Michael Murphy and Catherine Shaugnessey. William and Susan separated and she moved to Pawtucket, Rhode Island with the children sometime before 1900. I have not confirmed whether Patrick Murphy and Susan Murphy were siblings. William Quinn died October 24, 1928 at the Cape Breton Hospital.
