Born in Sydney, Eugene was the son of the late Sylvio and Elizabeth (Margetti) Magliaro. It was after a long and courageous battle with cancer that Eugene passed away with his loving partner Becky Barrington at his side. Becky unselfishly and lovingly walked side by side with Eugene throughout every step of his struggle with cancer. People will remember Eugene as an "Ashby boy" who loved to sport fish. He had worked with the CBRM Water Commission for 25 years. He is survived by his partner Becky; her children, Melissa, Timothy and Amanda and Eugene's daughter Crystal (Gerard) McMaster, and grandchildren, Carter and Shaylynn. He is also survived by his brother Patrick (Shirley) Magliaro of Sydney; goddaughter Natalie, and niece Alison Magliaro. He was predeceased by his sister Sylvia Marie Magliaro. Visitation for the late Mr. Magliaro will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel, where funeral service will commence at 4 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks. Special thanks to the VON, Palliative Care, and the CBRH Oncology Department, to any one of which donations may be made in Eugene's memory. John 'Pappy' Steiger Passed on: April 17th, 2014 The late Pappy Steiger is also survived by brother-in-law Walter (Carol) MacKenzie; sisters-in-law, Cheryl MacKenzie and Elaine (Gordie) Digero. He was also predeceased by brothers-in-law, Herbie Woodland, Eric MacKenzie and mother-in-law Theresa MacKenzie. Wayne Patrick Nolan The death of Wayne Patrick Nolan, occurred on April 17, 2014, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton, NB, at the age of 62 yrs. Born in Glace Bay, NS, he was the son of the late Pat and Joyce (Kuta) Nolan. Wayne worked in teh oil business since the 1970’s with a company that in now Transocean. Wayne is survived by his wife, Donna Lee of Frederiction, NB, sons, Patrick Nolan of Fredericton, NB, and Andrew Nolan of Petawawa, Ontario, grandchildren, Lillian, Rachel, Aurora, Finn and John-Patrick, sister Julie and a brother, John. There will be no visitation by request. A memorial service will be held at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel, 160 York Street, Fredericton, NB, on Wednesday, April 24, 2014 at 11 am. The Rev. Bill Brennan will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by teh family.
