David was well known and respected for his dedication to family, support of friends, strong work ethic, and wonderful sense of humour. David always had a story to tell and a joke to share. There is little he would not do to bring a smile to someone’s face. Originally from Cape Breton, David spent many years working in Western Canada on the pipelines. He was thrilled to spend several years working side by side with his son Michael, whose career he has watched grow with pride. A lover of music, David was an excellent harmonica and guitar player. He was immensely proud of his daughter Charlee’s musical talent, which he always supported and encouraged. David’s dream was to move home and split his time between his home in Port Morien and cottage in Southside Boularderie where he shared many wonderful moments with his family.
