Born April 21, 1937, in Sydney, he was the son of Margaret MacDonald, Sydney. Besides his mother, Carl is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jackie Carter. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday, March 13 at 10 a.m., with Rev. Dennis Lamey officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Born in Cape North, Cape Breton, NS; he is the son of the late Roderick Sinclair & Mary Grace (Royale) MacLeod. Lloyd was known to his family and friends as a true hardworker, never being able to sit still. He had a great love for animals, for the outdoors, fishing and playing poker "Texas Hold em" with his friends. He did work with the Pontiac Lodge in northern Quebec as a guide and a trapper. For many years Lloyd worked as a mechanic in the auto industry. As a veteran and in service to his country he served in Korea. Lloyd is survived by his son, Kevin Gene and his wife, Celia of St. Stephen, NB; his granddaughter, Abigail Rose MacLeod, at home; brothers, Gordon Lewis and Collie Roy; sisters, Margaret Isabell, Myrtle Louise, and Mary Anabelle. Lloyd was predeceased by brothers, John Angus, William Russell, Melvin William, Sinclair Royal, Dennis Gerald, twins, Collie Maurice and Roderick Hector and a sister, Marie Audrey. By Lloyds' request cremation will take place. ROYAL Born: July 9th, 1973 Passed in: NEW WATERFORD Passed on: March 7th, 2017 Jamie Douglas “J. R.” Royal passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at home in New Waterford. Born July 9, 1973, he was a son of Doug and the late Leona (Whitty) Royal. Since childhood, Jamie loved to play the guitar and as he got older, began singing. He enjoyed jamming with his father and uncles, Clarence and Dannie. Jamie also had a love for horses, riding and breaking them. The one that touched his heart the most was his boy “Traveller”. Jamie is survived by his father, Doug (Bernadette); children, Cheyene, Branden, Kelsey, Chantee, Mikayla and Hudson; grandchildren, Alexis, Paisley and Harrison; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that loved him. He was predeceased by his mother, Leona (Whitty); maternal grandparents, Walter and Muriel Royal; son, Tristan Ty. Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 1-2 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2 p.m., with Pastor Ron Coole officiating. Theresa Josephine TITTLEY, nee McKinnon Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017 at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Roland (2009). Loving mother of son, David and his wife, Gail and their family, Jaime Wick (Jason) and Carrie Lothrop, and daughter, Sharon Tittley and her husband, Harvey Hinsperger and granddaughter, Amanda Hinsperger and late grandson, Christopher Hinsperger (2005). Dear sister of Alexis MacDonald, Val Gouthro (Gerard), Daniel Farrell (Hannah), Fabian Farrell, Ken Farrell (Daisy), and Dan Farrell (Heather). She is predeceased by sisters, Sr. Mary Josita, Frances MacDonald, Jessie Bennett, Margaret Somerton, Sr. Marie Goretti, Katherine McKinnon and brother, Alex Farrell. She will be fondly remembered by all her nieces and nephews in Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia. Theresa, along with her husband, created, owned and operated Quality Paving for many years. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all the staff at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener for the exceptional care given to Theresa over the last couple years.
