CHISHOLM, Hugh John ''Hughie'' HUGH JOHN HUGHIE CHISHOLM With his wife by his side at the McCall Centre on Sunday September 28, 2008 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Patricia for 33 years. Loving father of Marlene Knight (Carlos), Lynn Chisholm (Kenny), Elizabeth Sheehy (Dean), Valerie Sheehy (Kevin), Matthew Sheehy, Mies Splinter, and the late Michael, and Vera. Cherished grandfather of Aaron (Christine), Connor, Corinne, Fregine and Piet. Dear brother of Finley (Margaret), Paul (Ruth), and the late John. He will be lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Viletta Knight and brother-in-law Paul Knight (Judy). Hughie was a proud and grateful member of AA for close to 47 years. In their early married life, Hughie and Pat were members of the Etobicoke Yacht Club and sailed the Chapter V to the 1000 Islands and other Lake Ontario ports. They also spent much time together in his beloved Nova Scotia. Though plagued with serious health problems, necessitating early retirement from I.A.P.A. he remained a positive, happy person who cherished his family and friends, and always enjoyed meeting and talking with people from all walks of life. He enjoyed taking photographs and creating albums, visiting yard sales, watching the wildlife around his home and attending AA meetings. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter ''Peel'' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, (Hwy. 10. N. of the QEW) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday October 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Mississauga.
