Halifax Herald August 12, 1967 JAMES H. HARDY, 78, of North Ingonish died in Sydney City Hospital Friday. Surviving besides his widow, the former Mary MacLean of North Ingonish, are five daughters, Ida (Mrs. Henry Roper), Laura (Mrs. John Kerr), Marjorie (Mrs. Sandy MacRae) all of Sydney; Flo (Mrs. Harold Hardy) Coxheath; Vangie (Mrs. Lionel Lee) Glace Bay; three sons, Angus and Douglas, both of Glace Bay; and Munroe, North Ingonish; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Roberts, Ingonsih; and Mrs. Charles Budge, New Haven, Victoria County; two brothers, Simon and Ben, North Ingonish. The body is at the Fillmore Funeral Home, Sydney, from where it will be transferred to St. John's Anglican Church in North Ingonish Saturday.
