    3. The following obituary appeared in the Dec 27, 2008 edition of the Calgary Herald. Hope it helps someone. MacISAAC - Daniel Allen October 22, 1926 - December 24, 2008 Daniel Allen MacIsaac of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at the age of 82 years. Dan was born on October 1926 at Broad Cove Banks, Inverness, Nova Scotia. Dan enjoyed a long working career in construction management, in mining and infrastructure. This enabled him to live in many communities throughout Canada and abroad. Dan was very devoted to the teachings of the Spirit of the Catholic Church and God. Dan served the church as a lay minister and was a prolific writer of family stories and teachings of the spirit. His great passion was his family; Dan loved to be in the company of his children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. He was very proud of all their accomplishments. Daniel is survived by his children and their spouses, Joy and Diego Romero and their family, Tomas (Nerissa), Judith and Rachel, Dan and Kathy MacIsaac and their family, Nicole, Lauren and Aeryn, Beth and Marc Guilmette and their family, Emily and Mathieu; one great-granddaughter, Isabel Marie; sisters, Florence MacDonald and Mary MacLean, brother, Angie D. MacIsaac,; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; He was predeceased by his wife, Judy, his parents and twelve brothers and sisters. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Luke's Catholic Church (Corner of Northmount Drive and Northland Drive N.W.) on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at a later date in Inverness, Nova Scotia.
