Bernie, In " A Dictionary of Scottish Emigrants to Canada Before Confederation" Volume 2 Donald Whyte lists 25 Donald Campbell's that emigrated. If you could tell me from whence he came and to where he went, I could narrow this down for you. His birth year could also narrow down even further.
