    3. Hi folks, Does anyone out there have a history, family histories of the Judique/Little Judique area ? I managed to trace my earliest to it's earliest source- Judique area, and that was around 1825-1835. The original settlers came around 1775-87 from South Uist via PEI following Big Michael MacDonald. There was a church built around 1819 under a Fr. A. McDonald. Two teachers by 1838 a McEachern and an O'Connor- Does anyone have student lists for this period of time ? There were " two groups of Campbells in Judique in the 1871 census. The Campbells in Judique south were descended from John Campbell of Edinburgh. The other Campbells were in Upper Hillsdale. " (Allan J. Gillis) Would anyone have anything pre-dating this 1871 census;such as this John Campbell of Edinburgh ? Cheers, Bernie Hanlon Try to do or say something nice to someone today ! _________________________________________________________________ Connect to the next generation of MSN Messenger  http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/default.aspx?locale=en-us&source=wlmailtagline
