Halifax Herald March 5, 1963 AMHERST - The death of Mrs. Lucy Evelyn MacKinnon Seaman occurred suddenly at her late residence, 13 Rupert Street on Saturday. She was born in Baddeck, the fourth child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archibald MacKinnon. Mrs. Seaman graduated from Mount Allison University where she studied music and received her training as a registered nurse in Nassau Hospital, Mineola, New York. She married the late Herbert B. Seaman, who predeceased her in 1949. She resided in Westbury, Long Island until moving to Amherst in 1951. Surviving are her sister, Miss Jean MacKinnon and several nieces and nephews, The late Mrs. Seaman rested at Campbell's Funeral Home from where the service was held Monday at 10 a.m., Ven. Archdeacon J.E. Sheehy officiating. Interment will be held in the Friends Burying Ground, Westbury, Long Island submitted by "Gerry Mattinson" <gmattins@rogers.com>
