Hello Everyone: I just found out my great grandfather's sister Catherine Higgins born Liverpool, England married John Savage, Sheffield, England. They immigrated to Cape Breton abt 1912 and his death certificate says he lived in New Victoria. He died in the General Hospital, New Waterford on 1 June 1949. The Informant on the certificate is Mrs Fred Deveaux, Daughter, St Johns, Quebec (first name perhaps Theresa). Does anyone know of this family? My grandfather Edward Higgins born in Sheffield, England, lived in Glace Bay. Donna in Ontario
