Halifax Herald September 28, 1964 SYDNEY - Sidney T. MacEwan, 80, of 192 Charlotte St., died Saturday night in the City Hospital. A painting contractor and decorator, Mr. MacEwan came here 60 years ago from St. Peter's Bay, P.E.I. He attended Bethel Presbyterian Church, and was a member of Sydney Lodge, AF and AM, and Queen Lodge IOOF. His body is at the R.H. Fillmore Funeral Home.
