I am wondering if anyone may be familiar with the surname SHOWELL. I am trying to find information on an Eliza Showell. She was a British Home Child who arrived in Cape Breton from the Middlemore Emigration Home in 1908. She was placed with an Angus & Catherine McLean in Aberdeen, Inverness Co.
