Halifax Herald December 10, 1963 Funeral service for Raymond Joseph MacDonald will be held today from St. Patrick's Church, Halifax in time for 8 a.m. Mass with interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. The remains rested at his home, 99 North Street. Son of the late John William MacDonald, Judique, Cape Breton, and Mrs. M.V. MacDonald. Mr. MacDonald drowned Friday evening near East Dover where it was believed he was lobster fishing. Surviving besides his mother of Halifax, are his wife, Audrey and three children, Cyril, Donna and Heather; two sisters, Marguerite (Mrs. Roy Thorne), Halifax and Sally (Mrs. John Payne), Montreal; three brothers, Stanley, Dan-Francis and John, all of Halifax. submitted by "Gerry Mattinson" <gmattins@rogers.com>
