Anyone who walked through Mom and Dad's door would always be treated to his wonderful sense of humour and a tale or two. Every spring the house would become a mini-greenhouse, from tomato plants for Marguerite to eight-foot hollyhocks. We believe his ability to produce such a bountiful crop came from his "extra" green thumb. His proudest legacy were two children, who will miss him dearly. They hope they will inherit a small measure of his courageous perseverance and profound spirit. His grandchildren, Mariah, Reeve and Kyran provided him with such joy. His wife, Sara, of 42 years was his constant companion, best friend and forever love. Their commitment to each other was a testament to marriage "in sickness and in health."
