Russo of Plymouth and John Scott Campbell and his wife, Joan M. Pelland of Bradenton, FL. Daughter of the late Angus R. and Mary (Currie) MacDonald. Devoted sister of the late Christina E. MacDonald & Margaret Janowicz. Dear grandmother of Andrew Russo and his wife Fidelma Russo of Sudbury and Lois Anne Russo of Devens. Also survived by her great grandchildren Courtney Anne and Daniel Blute and Katelyn and Julie Anne Russo. Florence was born at French Road, Cape Breton, and has lived in Boston, and then Randolph for some ninety years. She was a retired Nurse who worked at BU School of Medicine, Research Unit, for 25 years. As Florence MacDonald, she participated in the 1928 Olympics at Amsterdam in the 800 meters for the USA. Deveau Age 86, of Henderson NV, formerly of Acton, died on August 14th, 2008. A native of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, he resided in Massachusetts for more than 70 years before moving to Nevada in 1999. He served in the United States Army during World War II, service for which he was awarded the Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Laurel (Rigney) Deveau, of Henderson, NV; son, David Deveau, of Quincy, MA; daughter, Elizabeth Deveau, of Henderson, NV; grandson, Nicholas Deveau, of Milton, MA; brother, Donald Deveau, of Newburyport, MA; and sister, Elizabeth Strom, of Chelmsford, MA. Predeceased by one brother, Lee Deveau, and two sisters, Jean Jefferson and Tillie Brinton. Private service and burial will be held in Boulder City, Nevada. -------------------------------------------------------------- John T. Hawley Of Fort Walton Beach, FL, formerly of Lowell, MA died Saturday, May 24, 2008. Husband of the late Winifred (Kirkbright). He was born on March 28, 1910 in Ingonish, VT County, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. A son of William and Mary MacLeod Hawley. While living in Lowell, he was employed as a mechanic for John Brady and Sons and later for Ryder Truck Rental in Somerville MA. He was an avid race car fan, who for many years traveled to the Indy 500 at the Indianapolis Speedway. Survived by 2 sons: John Hawley and his wife Joan of North Chelmsford and Donald David Hawley of Fort Walton Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 6 great, great grandchildren; 1 great, great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
