Hello everyone, Robert Fraser Burke, the 13 year old Hockey Night in Canada Anthem finalist, is the son of Eugene Burke of New Waterford. Eugene was my next door neighbour growing up. Robert's grandparents were John Leo Burke of New Waterford who died at the age of 64 on the 17th of March, 1982 and Catherine Rita MacNeil who died at the age of 54 on the 19th of February, 1980. She was from East Bay. Her obit gives very little information. Does anyone know who these Burkes and MacNeils were? Robert Fraser has beaten out thousands of entries to become one of the top five.
