I'm starting to go over my MacDonald research again - While in CB last year, I found at the Beaton, a genealogy inquiry made by the grandson of Alexander MacDonald. Alexander was the brother of my great grandfather. The person making the inquiry lives only two towns over from myself! I don't believe the families ever knew of each other being so close! So, I looked him up and last year sent a letter along with a copy of his inquiry. I never heard back. he, if living is 86 yrs old now. I am contemplating calling his home - maybe he never read my letter, or put it aside and forgot about it, or isn't well, or... isn't interested. Would you call him by phone or leave it alone?
