at least for now... I mailed out a little packet of info to my possible distant MacDonald cousin - gave my contact info in case he changed his mind about getting together and asked that he acknowledge receipt of the package. he did so and promptly - I just mailed it I think on Friday. Today, I received my same envelope back, recycled and addressed to me, taped closed (so it was at least opened) with all the contents I had enclosed - no note from him. I did meanwhile, find his mother's obituary which did list grandchildren. I was thinking of trying to find them, but I have to get over this blow first. All I can do now is watch the paper for obits and hope their is a yard /estate sale with some genealogy info at it! Thanks for all your advice! Lauren
I think it just illustrates that not everyone gets as excited about finding distant cousins as we all do. Regards Michael lauren macdonald <swayball20@yahoo.com> wrote: at least for now...
