Nellie Jones who died in Sydney in 2001 was the daughter of Archibald MacDonald and Sarah MacDonald. For years I had been told by a cousin that Nellie had been married to a MacIvor first and had had one son with him. Recently reading Nellie's obit and a write up on her brother Daniel in the book "In the Morning" I have come to the conclusion that it wasn't Nellie who had married a MacIvor but her mother folloing the death of Archibald in 1919 however I can find no record of this marriage. In Nellie's obit it also mentions a brother Murdock who predeceased her for whom I can also not find any record. Her obit does say she is survived by a brother Malcolm MacIvor but Murdock is listed with the MacDonald children so I am not sure of his surname. Any help would be greatly appreciated Shirley
