THE SYDNEY RECORD WEDNESDAY EVENING SEPTEMBER 15, 1915 CHAS. PARTRIDGE HAS PASSED AWAY (Special to the Record) North Sydney, Sept. 15- The death of an old and very highly respected citizen occurred at the Harbor View Hospital yesterday when Charles Partridge passed away. The deceased was for a number of years in partnership with his brother William Partridge as one of the proprietors of the North Sydney foundry. Latterly he was employed on the censor staff of the cable office here, until two weeks ago, when, on account of illness, he was removed to the hospital. Mr. Partridge was in his seventy-fifth year. His wife predeceased him two years ago, and his only child, a daughter, died several years ago. Mrs. Vinson Bown of this town is a sister and Mr. Richard Partridge of Sydney Mines a brother of the deceased. PARTRIDGE (Special to the Record) North Sydney, Sept. 16-The funeral of the late Charles Partridge, who died in Harbor View hospital recently, takes place from Queen street, at 2:30 from the residence of his sister Mr. V.
