THE SYDNEY RECORD, OCTOBER 27, 1915 DEATH OF STAN MUGGAH Stanley Purvis Muggah, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Muggah, Glace Bay, died at his home this morning after an illness of about five years. He returned home lately from Saranac aLke, (Lake added), where he had been for the benefit of his health. He was 27 years of age and is survived by his parents and four brothers and one sister. THE SYDNEY RECORD, OCTOBER 30, 1915 FUNERAL OF S.P. MUGGAH The funeral of the late Stanley Purvis Muggah, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Muggah, took place yesterday to Hardwood Hill cemetery, Sydney. The funeral service at the Muggah home and at the graveside were conducted by Rev. H.L. Eisenor, pastor of the Methodist church. After the service at the house the casket was carried by the pall bearers to the S. and L. crossing, where a special train was waiting to take the funeral to Sydney. The pall bearers were Arthur Macdonald, F.J. Stanley, Lyman Jackson, Grover Hull, William Green and Tony Townsend. A large number of friends accompanied the remains to Sydney, where interment was made at Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
