Robert, you are correct about the name of this Funeral Director, unfortunately I can't confirm the closing date. In the Cape Breton Telephone Directory dated October 1935, there is a listing in New Waterford for "LeDrew, Geo. Funeral Supplies, County Road (Phone # ..34)". Perhaps the present day V.J. McGillivary Funeral Directors (1-902-862-6439) took over from LeDrew's or they may have some idea of what happened to their records if they are not already at the Beaton Inst. at U.C.B.??
