    3. When you look at the signature for John Hustuc, it looks more probably Hujduc and the closest I could find reference to was Hajdic. I would keep that in mind while searching. I looked in the Halifax Herald indexes, and only found one Hajdic. A birth announcement, but no reference to Iona or John. There were three immigrants to Canada named Hajdic between 1925 - 1935 http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/immigration-1925/001012-100.01-e.php However John would have arrived earlier.
