THE SYDNEY RECORD JULY 7, 1915 DEATH OF MRS. MAIR The death occurred this morning of Elizabeth, wife of Alexander Mair, Townsend Street, after a long illness. Mrs. Mair has been confined to her home since September, but her condition was not considered serious until about four weeks ago, when she became suddenly worse. She passed away at three o'clock. The deceased is survived by her husband, Alexander Mair of the Bank of Nova Scotia, and one son, Jack. Mrs. Henry Bagnell, Gabarus, Mrs. Henry W. Cann and Miss I.J. Mann of Sydney are sisters and O.N. Mann of Sydney is a brother. The funeral will take place tomorrow. (Grammatical and/or typo with the words "has been confined" second sentence.) MAIR The funeral of the late Mrs. Mair, whose death occurred early yesterday morning took place from the residence, Townsend Street, at two o'clock this afternoon, to Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
