Cape Breton Deaths November 29, 2008 Saturday Minnie (Graham) MacMullin 86, Donkin - It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Minnie MacMullin of Donkin on Nov. 27, 2008, at the Glace Bay Health Care Facility at the age of 86. Minnie was a kind , gentle, lady, who loved life and her family. Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes Graham. Minnie was a member of St. Luke's United Church, Donkin. Minnie worked for many years in Toby's and Chernen clothing stores in Glace Bay. Minnie is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Cathcart, Port Morien, Bev Milley (Len), Ottawa; and son, Graham, Donkin. Minnie is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Minnie was predeceased by her husband, Tommy, daughter-in-law, Marge MacMullin and son-in-law, Sandy Cathcart, brothers, Cecil, Harold, Bunny, Roy and Edwin, sisters, Annie and Decie, stepbrother, Tom Murphy. Minnie was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Visitation for the late Minnie MacMullin will be held at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, 849-7520, Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, at 3 p.m. in St. Luke's United Church, Donkin, with Rev. Donald MacDonald officiating. Burial to follow at St. Luke's Cemetery. Donations in Minnie's memory may be made to the local palliative care.
