He was a member of Mount Carmel Church and New Waterford Pensioners Club. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and boxing. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, Glace Bay and at one time, was employed at St. Joseph's Hospital and New Waterford Consolidated Hospital. She is survived by two sons, Robert, New Waterford; Stephen, Windsor, Ont.; daughter, Shauna Marie, New Waterford; three sisters, Coleen (Mrs. Alex Dachuk), Bernadette (Mrs. Lyle Lodge), Denise Jansen, all of Oakville, Ont.; three grandchildren. He was an avid cribbage and dart player.
