    3. Norman MacLeod was a well-known photographer in Cape Breton (ca 1930s-1940s, I believe). His hand-coloured photographs were very popular as wedding or anniversary gifts and are to be found in many of the older homes in Sydney and area. I don't know where to find additional information, except possibly the Beaton Institute, or just maybe Ray Martheleur, or Warren Gordon or Owen Fitzgerald, might know something.
